Presence and Impressions

Presence and Impressions is a photography exhibition that seeks to revive memories of destroyed and deserted Palestinian villages through their heritage and landmarks, demonstrating the destruction of people and places. Halwani found old photographs of British Mandate Palestine at the Imperial War Museum archive in London, and returned to Palestine to photograph the same places today in black and white.
