“Al-Ghenawa” is the poetry of love and expression of feelings in the Bedouin environment. It consists of a single verse that has its themes and entries and a long history of expressing emotional and intimate feelings in a frame full of symbols and rhetorical romantic references. The project aims at collecting and recording the “Al-Ghenawa” poetry in the field, studying it, and analyzing it and connecting it to the female Bedouin heritage in Egypt.
