I aim to archive, preserve and share the collection of music I acquired in Syria between 1997-2010, featuring rare recordings of regional folk-pop and dabke styles. Interviews with Syrian producers and musicians will chronicle personal experiences and memories of the pre-war Syrian music circuit. Results will focus on public accessibility via a podcast series, radio program and a compilation release.
