Iraqi Maqam and Arabic Music Scales aim is to collect, document, archive and record Arabic and Iraqi maqam musical scales, through the production of a CD album and a book compilation of scales. Farida Mohamad Ali, a well-known maqami singer, lends her voice for the album.
