Journeys tells the story of May Shahine, an architect in her forties who specializes in the restoration of old buildings. May returns to Lebanon after living abroad to work on an old building in downtown Beirut, which was destroyed during the Civil War. There, she discovers a mysterious purse containing the remnants of another life, another love and another time, forcing May to question her own past and her memories of the war.
