In January 2018 Chisenhale Gallery will present a major new commission by Algerian artist Lydia Ourahmane. Based on research around air toxicity in the town of Arzew, Oran, Ourahmane will produce a large-scale installation exploring the politics of air pollution, its direct effect on people’s wellbeing, and the processes and bureaucracies that prevent change.
