This research project will result with an Arabic book that offers a comprehensive history of puppetry in the Arab world. It aims to serve puppetry students, instructors, scholars, practitioners and the general public. The book contributes to the Arab Puppetry Performing Arts Foundation’s mission of ensuring accessibility to knowledge about this particular artistic heritage and its current uses.
