A collection of eight stories chosen to reflect on the process of social change. The stories reveal a shift in the cultural and aesthetic standards emerging in Syrian society today. They are not historical records, compilations of testimonies, or works of a revolutionary nature that seek to propagate particular ideals. Rather, this project is an attempt to reflect on the impact of social experiences and transformations through literary works, existential anxiety, the psychology of fantasies and collective imagination.
