Framing the Region: Arab Documentary Photography Program for Emerging Photographers Open for Submissions
10 / 10 / 2025

Calling all photographers residing and working in the Arab region: applications are now open for the 12th cycle of the Arab Documentary Photography Program (ADPP) for Emerging Photographers.

ADPP offers emerging photographers the opportunity to sharpen their documentary photography practice through workshops, tailored mentoring, and a production grant. Selected participants will become part of the growing ADPP network of photographers, gaining both regional and international exposure and connectivity.

If you have a documentary photography project and believe this program is for you, review the eligibility criteria on the ADPP program page and apply via our online form by December 10, 2025 – 5pm Beirut time (GMT+2). Applications are available in both English and Arabic.

The ADPP for Emerging Photographers is a program by AFAC in partnership with the Prince Claus Fund, Magnum Foundation, and with the support of the Norwegian Embassy to Lebanon and Syria. Since its launch in 2014, the program has supported more than 120 projects, selected from over 1,300 applications.
