Mohammed Fahmy (also known as Ganzeer) is an artist living between Houston and Cairo whose multidisciplinary "allschool" approach spans visual art, design and graphic narrative. He is the creator of the award-winning graphic novel The Solar Grid, and his writing has been published by Vintage, Temple University Press, and MIT Press. Ganzeer’s artwork has appeared in over 40 exhibitions worldwide, including at the Brooklyn Museum, Cairo's Palace of the Arts and London's V&A. He is also a recipient of the MoCCA Award of Excellence and the Global Thinker Award from Foreign Policy.
