Jana Traboulsi is an artist, designer, and scholar. She serves as assistant professor of graphic design at the American University of Beirut. She is the co-founder and creative director of the pan-Arab quarterly Bidayat and Snoubar Bayrout Publishing House. Jana is also the co-founder of Sigil, an art collective in Beirut and New York, and The Laab, a critical and creative unit exploring the intersection of art and politics. Recently, her participation in and from my heart I blow kisses to the sea and houses won the Award for Best International Pavilion at the 24th Triennale Milano (2025) and her artist book The Book of Margins, on display at MK&G Hamburg, was shortlisted for the Jameel Prize 2021.
