Lama Jamjoom is a Jeddah-based documentary filmmaker and photographer exploring personal and social narratives centered on women's experiences in her region through candid and intimate visual storytelling. Her debut short documentary, Mother Eve (2023), screened and won awards at international festivals including Madrid’s FICIMAD, Rabat’s FICAR, and Algeria’s FICA. Her debut feature, Remind Me to Forget, has been supported by CineGouna, Doha Film Institute, Souk Talents at the Red Sea International Film Festival, and Storyhouse. Alongside filmmaking, Lama maintains an active documentary photography practice and works independently with analog film archiving and projection. She currently works in public programming at Art Jameel's arthouse cinema in Jeddah.
