Guillaume Vandenberghe is a Belgian filmmaker and cinematographer whose work explores political memory, archives and identity. He studied photography at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts (KASK) in Ghent and later camera and audiovisual arts at INSAS in Brussels. His films often focus on personal stories situated within broader historical and geopolitical contexts, with a particular interest in the relationship between images, history and memory. His documentary films have been broadcast internationally on channels such as ARTE, VRT, RTBF, VPRO, SVT, SRF and NPO, and have been screened at numerous international film festivals. His work includes the feature documentary Cinema Inch’Allah! (2012), the award-winning documentary Rien n’est Pardonné (2017), and Kamikaze (2019).
