Rufaida Sehwail is a Palestinian artist holding a BA in Fine Arts with a specialization in illustration and painting. She also holds a Higher Diploma in Education and a certificate in Art Therapy, and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Psychological Counseling. She has presented local and international solo exhibitions, including the first Palestinian video art exhibition in 2019, and most recently, The Not-Last Wall in 2024. For 17 years, she has been working in art training, teaching, and psychological debriefing for children through the arts, and has won local awards and educational recognitions. Despite losing her studio and archive during the genocidal war, she continues to produce art and teach emerging artists in Gaza.
