Turath Jamil Allahoof is an architect, art historian, and curator based in Paris, whose work weaves together architecture, heritage, and contemporary artistic practices mainly from the Middle East. His path has been shaped by a genuine interest in cultural memory, urban history, and the creativity of artists whose stories often remain underrepresented. He holds a PhD in History of Art from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. His research aimed to document and better understand a unique heritage at risk of disappearing due to ongoing urban transformation. He also maintains his career as an architect and project manager, contributing to design and development projects in France and the Middle East.
