Anaheed Al-Hardan is a scholar, educator, and curator. She is associate professor of sociology at Howard University and principal investigator of the Mellon-funded Afro-Asian Futures Past research program. Her work engages the Afro-Asian Solidarity Movement through research and curatorial practice, including advising Fehras Publishing Practices on Borrowed Faces (2) for documenta 15. She also explores translation as artistic practice, and was awarded an English PEN grant (2025) for the Arabic-English translation of Children of the Dew.
