Frida Iman Charara

Frida Iman Charara is a multi-disciplinary artist merging materials and movement through installations and performances that reflect on the politics of space and species. With a decade of experience in participatory projects, she holds a BA in Architecture and an MA in Urban Design from Berlin. Her work as a researcher and lecturer in participatory urban design and international urbanism led her to co-found baucircus in 2018, a nomadic workshop for the co-production of spatial and artistic projects with a focus on engaging underrepresented communities and eco-social initiatives. Additionally, Frida Iman is a certified Theater of the Oppressed facilitator, with training in carpentry and silversmithing.
