Raghad Saqfalhait is a Palestinian designer and material researcher. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in GeoDesign at the Design Academy Eindhoven. Her work explores material cultures and agrarian craft ecologies in Palestine through long-term, collaborative projects. In 2022, Raghad contributed to RIWAQ’s artistic research project The Absent Map through her project The Geography of Pottery. In 2019, she co-founded Sakeb with Mariam Dahabreh, a design collective working with waste produced by the limestone industry in Palestine.
She was awarded the Prince Claus Seed Award in 2022 and received the Jordanian Engineers Association (JEA) Prize for her project Scales of Integration: The Body, the Cemetery, and the Terrain in 2019.
