Saker Elnour is a researcher in rural sociology and environmental studies, with over 15 years of experience in academic research, ethnographic fieldwork, archival documentation and community-based projects across the Nile Delta, North Africa and the Arab region. His work focuses on political ecology, agricultural transformations, water governance and the memory of social environments. Saker has a strong record of interdisciplinary production linking research, visual storytelling, cultural heritage and public engagement. He regularly collaborates with artists, photographers and local communities to produce knowledge rooted in place, memory and everyday environmental practices. Since 2022, he has been working as a consultant with the Tanmo network on research and cultural projects at the intersection of environment, labor and social justice.
