Nada Rezq

Nada Rezq is an Egyptian filmmaker and cultural projects manager with over a decade of experience. Starting as a visual artist in 2008, she won the PSA Golden Medal at the Emirates International Photography competition. She studied Graphics and Communications in Egypt and New Media and Video Art in France, where she produced experimental films and held her first solo exhibition. She also co-founded Adasa Photography Club. Shifting to cinema, she earned an MBA, and later founded Lightworkers Films. Her short film Just Like Sugar won Best Short under 10 Minutes. She managed the Jesuit Film Festival, and Mobile Cinema Program with GIZ Egypt. She directed the docu-fiction Greetings to the Happy Gathering. She also produces films by other directors.
