Hayy is a multidisciplinary collective based in South Lebanon, rooted in music, sound, art and ecological practice. Founded in 2019, Hayy grew from a vision to create inclusive, hands-on spaces for cultural continuity, learning and creative exploration. It aims to foster resilience, well-being and connection through art and ecological practices, supporting displaced, gifted and sensitive individuals while engaging local communities in dialogue, collaboration and skill-sharing.
Hayy offers workshops and residencies in music, weaving, product design, dance and permaculture, aiming to preserve cultural heritage and develop self-sufficient, regenerative systems for both art and daily living. Since its inception, the collective has worked on building spaces for creation, hosting artists and volunteers and cultivating ecological gardens, experimenting with methods that blend tradition, innovation and sustainability.
