Lobna Sana

Lobna Sana is a Bedouin architect and artist from southern Palestine whose work addresses social questions through architecture, film, sculpture, mapping and activism. A graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design. She cofounded zi, a Jerusalem-based art movement using art and architecture to confront life under occupation. Lobna collaborated on the VR film Remember this Place, shown at the Venice Film Festival in 2023, and is working on The Black Goat, a documentary on spatial change in the Naqab. She leads mapping initiatives at the Regional Council for the Unrecognized Bedouin Villages and started her MFA at the Royal College of Art in 2025.
