Mohamed Safi is a photographer from the city of Aflou, Algeria. He is inspired by his daily experience as a fare collector on urban buses. He began his photography practice in 2022, transitioning from street photography to documentary work that focuses on people and social vulnerability. Mohamed has participated in exhibitions both in Algeria and abroad, and received two national awards as well as the Doroob grant supporting Algerian photographers, in collaboration with La Chambre Claire.
