Charaf Lahib is a documentary photographer based between Casablanca and Kelaa des Sraghna, Morocco. His work focuses on exploring life in his hometown and the nearby villages. Coming from these places himself, his work is like a personal journey back home. He documents the lives of the people, memory, traditions and the relationships with the land, within a vision that traces and questions both what exists and what does not.
Charaf is also a published photographer, with his project Red Poppy released by Zoopark Publishing (Berlin). His contributions have earned him recognition through several awards, including the Révélation Prize at the Face à la Mer in Tangier in 2024 and the National Visual Arts Competition in 2025.
