Mohammed Alomda is a Sudanese director and producer. Over the last ten years, he has contributed to a burgeoning Sudanese new-wave cinema as a producer and director, including for several documentaries and short films. He was appointed head of film programming at Sudan Film Factory and is a film programmer at the Sudan Independent Film Festival. Later he co-founded Station Films which co-produced You Will Die at Twenty (2019). The film premiered in Venice and won the Lion of the Future Award. The company continues to produce independent films in Sudan, East Africa, and the Arab world. He produced the Yemeni film The Burdened (2023) by Amr Gamal, and his last film Goodbye Julia (2023) won the Un Certain Regard - Freedom Prize at the Cannes Film Festival in 2023.
