Rayane Mcirdi was born in 1993 in Paris. He graduated from the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 2019. He presented his first solo show in 2021 at the Galerie Édouard-Manet (Gennevilliers) and participated in several group exhibitions around Europe. His films have been screened at the Palais de Tokyo, the Centre Pompidou, as well as at the Nîmes Triennale, abroad at the Jameel Arts Centre in Dubai and soon at the Barbican Center in London.

In 2024, Rayane was part of the official selection of the 56th Directors' Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival with his short film After the Sun.
