Bane Fakih is a Lebanese writer-director. Her short Assil and Jad (2014) won Best Short at the European Film Festival of Beirut and Best Screenplay at Nadi Likol Elnass. She holds an MFA from Columbia University, where she received a screenwriting award. Her short Vibes (2019) screened at OutFest, Palm Springs ShortFest, and Berlin Feminist Week. Her feature script Keep It Together (forthcoming) was selected for Tribeca All Access and Through Her Lens. In 2023, she co-wrote Pigeon Wars, selected for the Sundance Development Track and La Fabrique Cinéma. In 2024, she co-wrote It’s a Beautiful and Sad World (2025) and directed Motherland, part of the anthology film Disorder, which won the Audience Award at El Gouna Film Festival and premiered at L'Institut du monde arabe.
