Reem Rizk

Reem Rizk is a cultural manager working across curation, research and writing. Her work investigates the intersection of contemporary art and political theory, focusing on critical artistic practices as mediums for unpacking social frameworks related to postcolonial identity, migration and borders, and environmental justice. From 2020 to 2024, she was a Programs Coordinator at Ashkal Alwan and a lecturer in Civilization Studies at the American University of Beirut. She is completing her thesis, "Navigating Uncertainty: Ashkal Alwan's Survival Strategy Amid Lebanon's Turbulent Landscape (2019-2024)" and is co-curating the parallel program for the Cyprus Pavilion at the 2025 Venice Biennale of Architecture.
