Reem Omer is a Sudanese artist and museum professional based in Sharjah. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Sharjah (2010) and a Master of Arts in the History of Art and Museum Studies from Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi (2013). Her professional experience includes analysing contextual data, conducting oral history interviews and developing content for exhibitions and galleries in the UAE.

Reem’s previous roles focused on original research, interpretation and content creation for several cultural and heritage projects. She currently works in the research, programming and publication department at the Africa Institute.
