Essam Satti is a Sudanese rapper, songwriter and composer who began his musical career at the age of 15. He grew up listening to a diverse range of Western, Oriental and Arabic music but was most influenced by Sudanese melodies, which in turn influenced his songs. In 2016, he co-founded the rap group Music 56 with Marwan Shadi and Lil Joe. In 2021, Ali Naseraldeen joined them to establish Nilos for Artistic and Media Production Ltd. His debut album, El Nar Wallaet, produced in collaboration with Naseraldeen, was released in 2022.
