Cham Saloum is a Berlin-based oud player, composer and singer. Trained at the Arabic Oud House under Naseer Shamma, she earned a BA in world music in 2021. Her work explores themes of identity, exile and cultural fusion, blending Middle Eastern music with jazz, electronic and contemporary sounds.

Cham has performed across Europe and the Middle East with the Trickster Orchestra, Babylon Orchestra and Synkope, her collaborative trio. She has also performed with the Cottbus Orchestra and Liberty Orchestra. Her first album, composed in 2020, is yet to be released.
