Mahmood Alhendi is a Yemeni sound engineer, composer and music arranger who has also managed musical and cultural projects and documented musical heritage. He holds a bachelor’s degree in media and public relations and specializes in music production and sound engineering. Mahmood is the founder and director of Melodies of the Golden Era, a project that contributes to reviving Yemen’s musical heritage. He also serves on the board of trustees of the Hadramout Culture Foundation. His work focuses on developing musical content that strengthens Yemeni identity. He has contributed to productions of theme songs for television programs and series and has managed musical performances in Malaysia, France, Egypt, Kuwait and Qatar.
