Studio Collective

Palestine

Studio Collective is a Palestinian initiative founded in 2022 by a group of dancers and artists to explore contemporary questions through dance. The collective aims to create an interdisciplinary space where dance, music, literature and other forms intersect, allowing artists to experiment and collaborate across disciplines.

The work spans stage productions, video projects and community programs. Performances include Sahab (2022), Waraa Ayonena (2023), Fine Lines (2024, supported by A.M. Qattan Foundation) and Too Small for Love (2025). Their video-dance works include Faster than Light, Always (2024) in collaboration with Wonder Cabinet and Fadi Dahabreh. They have also run the Sirb Initiative, an interdisciplinary art camp for children. To further extend their engagement, they host post-performance workshops, opening dialogue with audiences around the themes they bring to the stage.

Studio Collective has also collaborated with Stereo48 and Cassandra Martin to form Collective Hirak. Launched in response to the genocide in Gaza, the initiative creates space for discourse between artists, lawyers, curators and thinkers from Palestine and abroad to examine the intersections of art and politics, reflecting on how movement and artistic expression can serve as tools for resistance.
