Karam Abou Ayash is a Syrian schenographer, technical director and trainer. He earned his degree in scenography from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Damascus in 2010. He designed and constructed sets for numerous stage productions, including Bronze (2009), Hafl Ghaseel (2013), Silk (2015), A Ticket to Atlantis (2016), The Confession (2018), All the Names (2021) and Montaha Al-Le’b (2023). His work also extends to films, television series and dance performances.

Alongside his scenography practice, Karam worked as technical director for music and theater productions such as Above Zero (2017), The Other Side of the Garden (2018), Dream and Okno. He has led training workshops for amateur youth in stage lighting design and has experience in drawing, photography, videography, editing, sound recording and mixing.
