Naël Zaiti-Ruelle

A self-taught filmmaker, Naël Zaiti-Ruelle won the 2017 Moteur! Competition and received a prize at the Cannes Film Festival for his film about his Algerian grandfather: Naël & son grand-père. With a passion for fantasy cinema, he has made several short films, including Eclat (2017), which won the screenplay prize at the Rennes Court-Métrange festival in 2018, and La terre étrangère (2022) . He is currently developing a series of films exploring his Franco-Algerian identity.
