Shams is a cultural association operating in Lebanon that was established in 1999 to support young talents in theater, dance, music, and audiovisual arts. It manages the Dawar Shams cultural center to stage the performances of young theater directors, providing them with technical resources and a space for exchange, dialogue, meetings, and documentation of their works. Shams encourages young people's artistic production and strives to organize professional cultural events to empower and develop the capacities of Lebanese youth in particular and Arab youth in general.
