Sculpture for the People: North African Sculpture Symposium in Cairo’s Desert of the Mamluks is a multidisciplinary project working with street sculpture in the areas around Cairo’s Sultan Qaitbey funnery complex. The program will offer a two-week symposium on sculpture with four distinguished North African sculptors working in monumental forms.
