In several villages of the western High-Atlas south of Morocco, such as Tanefacht, the inhabitants celebrate the ancestral Berber feast of Bilmawn, following Eid el Adha. Young men, wearing masks and costumes made of the sacrificial beasts, take over the village and transform it into a gigantic stage. But when one plays the beast, how far can the savagery go?
