"Adagio" is a research project that looks at the dance practices that were imported from the West in the thirties, and the way it affected dance and movement in performance in Lebanon. Through a set of filmed dance sessions with dancer, teacher and choreographer Salwa Al Khatib, I will narrate the history of her body and dance’s development in Lebanon.
