Solitaire is an original screenplay and theatrical production staged in Cairo that consists of three monologues by Egyptian women – a mother and her two daughters. Each woman confronts change and must adapt to find inner peace. The women’s different perspectives is reflected in their way of speaking—the mother speaks in classical Arabic and the girls in Egyptian dialect.
