Esther/ Leila, a forty year old French woman of Palestinian descents, lives her everyday life in an exile which she has chose for herself, as an escape from five painful memories she had experienced, beginning in a refugee camp in Gaza, Palestine, before having to move to the United Arab Emirates. She then left to Spain, and the finally settled in France, where she was trying to find a place with an Arab / European identity for her to live in peace her memories.
