Cine-Village is an extension of the third edition of Minya Short Film Week. Aiming to establish cinematic spaces in four villages across Minya and Assiut, it will train 48-60 participants in writing, cinematography, editing and directing, and produce four films that explore people’s relationship with the land and its erosion. The project will also organize environmental film screenings in the villages for around 400 viewers, with the outcomes presented as part of Minya Short Film Week’s activities.
