Ahmed Al-Khatib is a musician and composer who began his early musical journey with Oud. He studied music specializing in cello and classical music. He joined the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music in Palestine and headed the Oriental Music Department. He edited six books as a curriculum for oriental instruments and musical groups of contemporary Arab authors. In 2004 he received a scholarship to pursue music studies at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. From 2007 to date, he is a lecturer, teacher of theories and composition, and is a coach of the music department of the Music and Jazz improvisation department at the Music Academy / University of Gothenburg.
