Salma Kossemtini is a Tunisian independent curator, cultural practitioner and researcher who has been active since 2016. Her work explores archives, identity and space through plural and interdisciplinary forms, with a strong focus on practice-based and collective experiences. She is a mentor and board member of Mouhit, an environment dedicated to fostering creativity, critical exchange, and convivial forms of learning and exchange.
Salma’s recent projects include Haptic Library, co-curated with Archive Ensemble for the Dak’Art Biennale (2024), as well as exhibitions such as Et Si Carthage? by Nidhal Chamekh, co-curated with Kathryn Weir; Strata of Being by Sana Chamakh; and Jelliz & Gestes by Sonia Kacem. She also produced the inaugural exhibition at 32Bis, Can We Sign Together Again, My Friend? by Thania Petersen, as well as Adama Sylla’s exhibition L'histoire de demain.
