Emma is the Director of Programs at the Magnum Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports creativity and diversity in documentary photography and encourages experimentation with new models for storytelling. Her current research and curatorial interests focus on augmented reality, spatial narrative and creative project development. Emma was a Lewis Hine Documentary Initiative Fellow at Duke University’s Center for Documentary Studies and a Van Lier scholar at the International Center of Photography. She completed her B.A. in Art History at Bowdoin College and later an M.A. in Anthropology at the New School for Social Research.
