Muhammad Taymour is an Egyptian film producer, director and video artist. 
From 2018 to 2020, Muhammad worked as a producer with Fig Leaf, a production company based in Alexandria. In 2020, he produced the short film I Am Afraid to Forget Your Face which won the Short Film Palme d'Or, marking the first time an Egyptian film had taken home the award in the festival’s history. 
In 2021, Muhammad founded the Egyptian Film Producers Club, which aimed to gather aspiring film producers to create a space for them to share their experiences through the club's activities. The club also has created programs aimed at educating future generations of film producers in Egypt. 
In 2022, he founded Chaos Films, a production company based in Egypt with a focus on producing high-quality short films. The company is currently producing its fourth short.
Alongside teaching film production workshops since 2019, Muhammad is currently working as a lecturer on film production at the School of Design & Media in The Knowledge Hub Universities, Coventry University branch in Egypt.
From 2023–2024, Muhammad served as the head of CineGouna Film Market at El Gouna Film Festival. He left that role in 2025 to take up short films programming for the same festival.
