Fatma Cherif is a cultural professional and filmmaker who has explored over the last 20 years the intersections of art, memory, and politics through festival direction, research and documentary cinema, particularly in Arab, African, and Mediterranean contexts.

She is known for her films Ruby & Quentin (2003), Bent Eddar (2009), Tunisie, une mémoire juive (2016), and It Snows at Sidi Bou Said (2020).
