Gladys Joujou is a film editor of Lebanese origin based in Paris. Alongside her work on large-scale productions, independent films and documentaries, Gladys also works as a story consultant and editing tutor at international documentary workshops.
Gladys has worked on large budget films such as US filmmaker Oliver Stone’s Alexander (2004) and French director Jacques Doillon’s Raja (2003), while also contributing to independent films such as Ghassan Salhab’s Beyrouth Fantôme (1998) and Terra Incognita (2002), Carlos Chahine’s Mother Valley (2023), Philippe Van Leeuw’s InSyriated (2017) and The Wall (2023).
Gladys’ work on documentaries includes Raed Andoni’s Ghost Hunting (2017), Suhaib Gasmelbari’s Talking About Trees (2019), Boubacar Sangaré’s A Golden Life (2023) and DJELYIA (2022), Rami Farah’s A Comedian in a Syrian Tragedy (2019) and Our Memory Belongs to Us (2021), Nadine Naous' Chacun sa Palestine (2006), Khaled Jarrar's Notes on Displacement (2022), Samaher Elqadi’s As I Want (2021), Hind Meddeb’s Sudan, Remember Us (2024) and Lina Soualem’s Their Algeria (2020) and Bye Bye Tiberias (2023).
Her work has been shown at various international and regional film festivals including: Cannes film festival, Amman film festival, Ajyal film festival and others.
