An academic researcher, critic, and poet. He holds a doctorate in comparative literature from the University of Sorbonne in Paris and currently lectures at the King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Zahrani is considered as the pioneer of literary modernity in Saudi Arabia. He is the editor of many cultural magazines, and member of different cultural and literary committees. He has published researches and studies, in addition to one novel “Dance” in 2010.
