Brahim El Mazned is a Moroccan cultural expert, researcher, and artistic director with over two decades of experience in cultural policy, heritage, and the creative industries. He founded and directed Visa For Music, the first professional music market for Africa and the Middle East, and served, for more than 20 years, as Artistic Director of the Timitar Festival, one of Africa's leading music festivals. He also conducted extensive research on Morocco's intangible cultural heritage, authoring several reference publications on traditional music. Through his work in cultural programming, heritage preservation, and international cooperation, he contributed to strengthening intercultural dialogue and the development of the cultural and creative sectors in Morocco and beyond.
